Hunza G Nadine Bikini Set & Solitaire One Piece Swimsuit ($210 each)
When I hear a brand is one size fits all I get terrible Brandy Melville flashbacks, but when I tap on the tagged photos from @hunza.g’s IG page I’m pleasantly surprised to see all shapes and sizes wearing their suits proudly! I decided to try out two varieties of their famous ribbed suits to potentially bring to Maui next month and I am very impressed.
Out of the box, the suits are scrunched up and little and if you’re over a size 4 you’ll immediately think, “There is no way this will fit me.” But just like the magic of Spanx, Hunza G’s famous fabric stretches to accommodate every part of you. What I love about the fabric is you can get full butt coverage while also having a high cut leg which is extremely flattering and a hard combination to find! The one piece’s belt makes it even cuter and even more flattering, defining the waist! One thing you’ll notice on the brands IG is the amount of pregnant woman who wear their suits and after trying I can see why! If you’re pregnant, this is the perfect suit to own for before, during, and after pregnancy! So while it’s pricey I feel like the versatility makes it worth it.
My favorite of the two suits was the one piece. While I usually love high waisted bikinis, my short torso was not made for theirs. The model shots of the bikini show at least 6 inches between the top and bottom and on me there was about 1 inch 😂 If you have a long torso you’ll LOVE the high waisted styles. The only other critique I can give the suit is while it’s stretchy and insanely comfortable, it’s not compressive so if you’re looking for a spanx like effect this won’t give that to you.
I love and recommend Aerie swimsuits to everyone, but sometimes splurging is totally worth it! Have you tried Hunza G before? How do you feel about the one size fits all fabric?
