Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel ($29)
It’s amazing how important eyebrows have become to my daily face in the past 10 years. When I look back at photos from high school all I can think is, “Where are my eyebrows?” Thankfully I never got tweezer happy, but my eyebrows are much like my hair…fine. The tail of my eyebrows in particular kind of disappear unless filled in. Eyebrow gel has been my saving grace. They are almost foolproof to use and super quick!
I was influenced to buy Hourglases Arch Brow by @theannaedit. You might as well call her Brooke Shields, her eyebrows are iconic. The Hourglass Arch Brow is special with its multi length brush. The short bristles are to deposit color and texture, while the longer bristles are for shaping the brows. Strangely for me, I found the opposite to be true. The shorter bristles added the perfect amount of color and shaped, while the longer bristles deposited way too much color on my eyebrows and the skin around them. Cleanup was tricky with the product. The product dried quickly and would smear when trying to remove. I also found the hold to be just okay. Taking on or off a shirt would move my eyebrow hairs out of place. This didn’t bother me that much, but I can see how this would be a “con” for many.
This won’t be a repurchase for me, but I can see how someone with thick and full eyebrows like Anna, would love this product! I’m currently trying out Anna’s newest favorite, Patrick Ta’s Major Brow Lamination Gel, and can’t wait to review it in a few weeks.
