Dior Rosy Glow Blush in Rosewood ($40)
*DISCLAIMER* My old house has tiny windows and terrible natural light so photos on the counters are not indicative of the true shade of the product. Refer to the swatches with my house in the background for the true shade. Gotta keep the backgrounds consistent for the feed, thanks for understanding!
It is safe to assume at this point that if Dior drops new blush shades I’m going to buy them. The brand has quickly become one of my all time favorites, particularly with blushes. The entire Rosy Glow line is magic in my eyes. The powder is so smooth, the perfect amount of pigment that lasts all day (on my normal/dry skin), and really does leave a “glow.”
My #1 is still the original Pink shade — not sure if I’ve made it abundantly clear by now that YOU NEED IT 🤪 Coral was the second to drop and I love it for a more fun punchy shade. Rosewood and three other shades have recently launched and as expected they are perfection.
Rosewood in particular is 100% my color. A warm and soft rosy hue that is truly seasonless. This is the kind of shade that will look good when you’ve got your mid-summer tan (or sunburn lol) and deep into winter when you can’t possibly think your skin could get any paler. Just like the other shades, the powder is so smooth on the skin and is easily buildable. I found it to last on my skin all day atop a dewier base.
When looking around my other makeup I noticed that Rosewood was the twin sister to my much beloved Beverly Hills Flush Balm by Merit! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I swatched them next to each other. While it might seem unnecessary to own both, I do find the Dior powder to last longer than the Merit Flush Balms, but if you are an only cream blush kind of gal then the Merit is perfect…and it’s cheaper 🥳
If I’m ranking the three Dior Rosy Glow blushes I own it would go Pink, Rosewood, then Coral. But honestly they are so lovely they basically share the same pedestal.
Which shade is your favorite?
