Dae Hair: Styling Products
Day two of Dae Hair products! Today we’re talking all about the styling products.
Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream ($26)
Dae’s newest product is a styling cream meant for natural curls, pre-blowdrying, and smooth styling for sleek ponytails and buns. It made my natural curls defined, shiny, and frizz free. I did have a bit of a crunch right on the top of the hair, but once my hair was fully dry I was able to scrunch out the crunch. I tried it on second day dry hair and it was little too sticky for me, but would be great for thick straight hair to create sleek ponytails and buns. For pre-blow drying it was fine, but since it doesn’t have heat protection I’d rather use a smoothing cream with protection. This is best for heat-free styling purposes!
Prickly Pear Hair Oil ($36)
Gorgeous glass packaging, nice for home but would be so heavy for travel. This oil is much thicker than a traditional argan oil, but surprisingly wasn’t sticky or heavy on my fine hair. Like the styling cream I would use this for wet styling that will be air dried or for dry hair smoothing and shine. I used this to scrunch the crunch out of my curls and it worked perfectly.
Cactus Flower Leave-In Condtioner ($26)
This is the only product with heat protection. Unlike most thin leave in conditioner sprays this is quite thick. I think it’s too thick for a spray and prefer pumping it in my hands then distributing with my fingers. While hydrating, I didn’t find it to be anything to write home about and will be a product I’ll forget about in my drawer in no time.
